Mobylife is strongly committed to protecting personal data. This privacy statement describes why, how and what kind of personal data we collect and what do we use it for. It applies to personal data provided to us, both by individuals themselves or others. 

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable living person. The personal data which we are provided with is used for being able to provide and measure the services we are providing.

Personal data that we store

Personal data that we store from individuals that have acquired services from us are:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address

 

For keeping a record of the services that we provide we also store the device information such as:

  • Make
  • Model
  • IMEI-code
  • Serial number
  • Purchase date
  • Fault description

 

We also store a record of ordered services, deliveries on the orders and information about invoicing.

 

How long is my personal data stored?

For personal data we have retention policy of 90 days. What this means is that our systems automatically overwrite the personal data from the service orders after 90 days from the completion of the order. This does not comply with the personal data which is possibly stored on the invoices as we have other obligations from the legislation for retention of that information. However all the invoice information is accessible only to a limited group of people within our company. For orders that have been created to our system which we have never received we overwrite all personal data after 30 days from the latest update.

 

Where is my personal data stored?

Our customer registers holding personal data are stored in databases on servers at secured locations in Denmark and Finland. 

 

Who can access my personal data?

For us to be able to provide you with our services our employees have to have a possibility to access your personal data stored in our systems. However we have limited the access by defining user roles into our systems with the right privileges based on job functions. Our channel partner employees using our service portal can also monitor the development of orders during the repair process and by so access personal data. However on this end we have also personal logins for each employee.

 

With whom and why is my personal data shared?

We have to share some of the personal data with third-parties to enable us to provide our services. As we are authorized by manufacturers we are in contractual relationship with them and bound by obligations to share the personal data of our orders with the manufacturer of your device. For payment transactions we need to share personal data with payment solution suppliers. To be able to ship the orders back to their owners we need to share personal data with our logistic partners. 

In order for us to monitor and analyze web traffic our websites have Google Analytics installed which means that we collect usage data and cookies. This data is shared with Google in order for them to prepare reports on activities and to share it with other Google Services. 

In order to keep improving our service offer and customer experience we also share order number, email and customer name with TrustPilot so that they can assist us in collecting feedback from people who have bought or used our services. 

 

Individuals’ rights and how to exercise them

As a data subject you have certain rights and we are responsible of making sure that you can exercise these rights when acquiring services from us. All the data storing and processing with us is based on your consent and you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.
